New Doodle Pictures

Girl #1 (Colleen and Families New Adventure Buddy)

Feb. 28, 2010

Things are getting really exciting with the Doodles. They have had their first shots, they have had their first field trip!!(They did great!) We are starting to get alot of interest in our Doodles, which is exciting and sad at the same time. Last weekend we had a great young man named Keanu(sp?) and his family come and visit the puppies. They came to get Keanu a buddy, after alot of tough deliberation.... They made a fabulous choice sweet little girl #2. I am really excited for their family I believe they are getting a very sweet, docile doodle. Good Luck Keanu!!

On Friday Feb. 26, 2010 I took the puppies to some of the kids school classes. It would end up being a very long day for the Doodles, but they acted like champs!

We started with a visit to Madie's Kindergarten class, talk about explosive energy 7 Doodle puppies and a class full of Kindergarteners. That was a hand full!!

We visited Samie's Third Grade class next the Doodles couldn't get enough of the attention. After Samie's class we made our way to Jake's Fourth grade class. I thought Jake was going to float away when he saw his Dad and I outside his classroom with the puppies. I don't think Jake put Boss down the entire time we where there. From Jake's class we made our way over to Brynlee's preschool class. There were only 3 preschoolers so it was actually fairly calm.

After visiting the Live Oak school classes I brought the puppies home for a little lunch and potty break. We finished the day at Olivehurst Elementary and visits to Ben and Bella's classrooms. Ben was so excited I am sure he was a handful after we left, sorry Mr. "H"

The Doodles did great with all the attention and did really well in the crate and the car.

We have several people coming to visit the Doodles this weekend, we will keep you posted.

Thanks, Drewdle

The Doodles are really a handful now. They have started eating solid food as well as strutting thier stuff. They are really into playing and wrestling. They think they are alot tougher than they really are but they like to bluff you.
Ben is doing an amazing job with the Biosensory stimulation. He knows each puppy like the back of his hand. The puppies especially #5 really search Ben out when it is play time. He is already begining to dread when the puppies will go to their new homes.
Jake and his family made their selection on Sunday night. They choose puppy #3 and named him BOSS. Jake was so excited when they had finally made their selection he let out a giant sigh and stated "I finally have a little brother". He thinks 5 weeks is along time before he can take BOSS home.
Of our litter of 7 Doodles 6 are still available, 5 females and 1 male.
If you are interested in one of our doodles please contact me at 530 933 6342.

31 Jan, 2010 We have Doodle eyes!!! The puppies opened their eyes this week and it really added to their cuteness and personality.
The puppies are becoming more adventurous each day. A few of them even think they are quite big and tough as they bark(yelp) to show just how tough they are. They are exploring more and more of the whelping box , the puppy swim crawl has been replaced with the four legged look how big I am stumble.
The individual personalities are begining to emerge more, we have some really fiesty ones (#4),
and somelaid back surfer dude personalities. (#7)
Ben is really enjoying this whole experience and is pretty amazing with the puppies. He knows what each individual puppy likes and dislikes at this point so far. His favorite would have to be puppy #6 he calls her the she-hulk, he also helped him clip the puppies nails for the first time today. He has a very calming influence on the puppies.
We are really enjoying each new step the doodles make and are excited for the really fun to beging now. Thanks,Drewdle
This is boring, can I go back to sleep?

Doodles 1 week old

24 Jan. 2010 The Doodles are just over a week old now. They are growing at an incredible rate they have doubled in size and are becoming more adventurous. Their eyes should be opening any day now, we are all anxiously awaiting to see them with their eyes open.
I believe that based on their pigmitation that our doodles will be either Apricot/Creams or Caramels in color. Either color could have hazel or greenish gold eye coloring. A few of the pups are really starting to show the signs of a wavy/curly coat.
It is amazing to see the different personalities of each pup emerging and developing, the boys are having lots of fun doing the puppies Biosensory stimulation exercises, I'm not sure anyone should be allowed to have that much fun.
Since the puppies have been born we have noticed that the house has been alot quieter, we finally figured out that it is because Ben is spending so much time out in the whelping box with the pups. (He would sleep out there if we would let him.)

The Doodles Day 4

18 Jan., 2010
Everyone is settling in nicely. Diana is becoming an excellent mom. She has done really well with everyone being so excited to see her pups. I think she is more patient than quite a few humans I know.
Jon and Emily and their kids came over on Friday Jan. 15th. They are so excited that the puppies are here. Jake likes the youngest boy or the oldest girl for their families choice. They all decided to wait a few weeks before they make their selection. I was very proud of Jacob on Friday, he took a big step and was very confident and calm with Diana and the puppies. Best of all he had NO Alergic reactiones.
The puppies have had a busy few days, they had their dew claws removed and their first Vet check.(Everyone thought they were adorable!!) On sunday Nick and Ben started the puppies Biosensory stimulation exercises. These will continue everyday until the puppies go home with their new families. The Biosensory stimulation will help make the puppies more well rounded, healthy and be able to deal with stress better throughout their lives.
We will let you know how everything is going in a day or two.
Thanks, Drewdle
